These General Terms (AGB) govern the use of the WTFB platform (wtfb.site) operated by KROMA UG (haftungsbeschränkt), registered office: Halberstädter Str. 17, 28215 Bremen, Germany; Amtsgericht Bremen, HRB 41879 HB; VAT ID DE457760972; Managing Director Roman Koliada (the "Provider"). The current version is available at wtfb.site/legal/terms.
1. Scope and definitions
These AGB apply to all contracts between the Provider and the user ("User"). Deviating user terms do not apply unless the Provider explicitly agrees in writing. "Consumer" (§ 13 BGB) means a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade or profession; "Trader" (§ 14 BGB) means a person acting in the course of their commercial or independent professional activity.
"Developer" means a User who creates projects and pays for tasks. "Tester" means a User who completes tasks and receives internal WTFx credits. "Content" means all materials uploaded or generated by the User (URLs, screenshots, reports, messages, checklists, etc.).
2. Contract formation
Creating an account on the site constitutes an offer. The platform-use contract is concluded by the Provider's acceptance through account activation and/or granting access. For paid features, the contract for purchasing WTFx credits is concluded when the User confirms the order via a button labelled with a binding wording (e.g. "Buy" / "Pay") and the Provider sends a purchase confirmation by email.
The contract text (selected package, price, AGB, refund policy, withdrawal information) is sent to the User by email and/or is available in the account under "Transactions". Available contract languages: Russian, English, German, Ukrainian, Spanish — at the User's choice.
3. Registration and account
- User must be at least 18 (or the digital-consent age in their country, never below 16).
- One user — one account. Credentials must not be shared.
- User must provide accurate data and keep it up to date.
- Suspected account compromise must be reported to the Provider immediately.
4. Service description
The platform provides tools for crowdsourced product testing and audit: task creation, test execution, AI URL audit, report generation, quality scoring and messaging. Technical specifications, limits and available features are described in public documentation and may change. The service is provided without a 24/7 uptime guarantee; the Provider aims for high availability but planned maintenance and force majeure events may occur.
Tasks are distributed to Testers automatically on a self-service (pull) basis: tasks are published in the open marketplace and Testers pull them on a first-come basis weighted by reputation and quality limits. The Provider does not hand-assign a specific Tester to a specific task and earns no additional commission for such assignment. This rules out conflicts of interest between the Provider's roles as marketplace operator and WTFx escrow.
5. WTFx — internal accounting unit
WTFx is a closed internal accounting unit linked to the User's account. WTFx is not money, a security, e-money (§ 1 (2) ZAG), a crypto-asset (MiCA), a payment instrument, an investment or a wager. WTFx cannot be transferred between users, sold, redeemed for fiat or exchanged for cryptocurrency. WTFx purchased by a Developer is credited instantly and used exclusively to pay for in-platform services.
Testers earn WTFx for completed and accepted tasks. These WTFx are internal units and do not constitute salary, fee or monetary compensation. If the Provider later introduces an option to cash out WTFx, separate terms, tax reporting and KYC will apply; until then cash-out is not available.
6. Prices, VAT, payment
All prices are in EUR and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. For EU consumers, VAT is charged under the digital-services place-of-supply rules (Art. 58 Council Directive 2006/112/EC). For EU businesses with a valid VAT ID the reverse-charge mechanism applies (§ 13b UStG). Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (Ireland) via credit/debit card, SEPA direct debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other methods available at checkout. An invoice is sent by email and available in "Transactions".
On failed payments (chargeback, SEPA reversal, insufficient funds) the Provider may suspend the service and claim bank fees. Refunds — see Refund Policy.
Applicable taxes (including VAT / digital services tax) are calculated automatically by the payment provider Stripe based on the User's country and tax status. The final amount payable (including taxes) is displayed at checkout before payment confirmation.
7. Consumer right of withdrawal
Withdrawal instructions
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day of contract conclusion. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us — KROMA UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Halberstädter Str. 17, 28215 Bremen, Germany, email: [email protected] — of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement (e.g. letter or email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.
Early expiry of the withdrawal right When you purchase WTFx credits (digital content not on a tangible medium), the right of withdrawal expires early if you have (a) expressly agreed that performance begins before the withdrawal period ends, (b) acknowledged loss of the withdrawal right by such consent, and (c) the Provider has credited WTFx to your balance or you have used them (§ 356 (5) BGB, Art. 16(m) Directive 2011/83/EU). A corresponding checkbox with explanations is shown before payment.
Effects of withdrawal If you validly withdraw, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (if applicable), within 14 days of receiving your notification, using the same means of payment you used. No fees are charged for such reimbursement.

9. User content and licence
All rights in Content remain with the User. By uploading or creating Content, the User grants the Provider a free, non-exclusive, irrevocable (for required retention), worldwide licence to store, reproduce, process (including by AI models for scoring and translation), display within the platform to the task recipient (Developer), moderate and back up — solely for the purpose of providing the service. Content is not published to third parties outside the platform without the User's separate consent.
The User warrants that they hold all rights to uploaded Content, that it does not infringe third-party rights or contain malicious code, and that it complies with the Acceptable Use Policy.
10. Prohibited conduct
- Spam, fake reports, low-value automated answers, gaming of quality/quantity metrics.
- Infringement of third-party rights, illegal content, insults, harassment.
- Hacking attempts, reverse engineering, bypassing RLS, scraping beyond reasonable limits, DoS.
- Using the service for money laundering, sanctions evasion or fraud.
11. Liability
The Provider is liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, as well as under mandatory law (e.g. Product Liability Act, harm to life, body or health). For slight negligence the Provider is liable only for breach of essential contractual duties (cardinal obligations), and liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Any further liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law. These limitations also apply for the benefit of the Provider's staff, agents and subcontractors.
12. Service availability
The Provider targets 99% availability per year, excluding planned maintenance, force majeure and third-party outages (Supabase, Stripe, AI/hosting providers). Planned maintenance is announced in advance on the landing page or by email.
13. Term and termination
The platform-use contract runs for an indefinite term and may be terminated at any time by either party via account deletion or written notice (email is sufficient). The right to terminate for cause (§ 314 BGB) remains unaffected. Unused WTFx after termination are refunded under Refund Policy.
14. Changes to the AGB
The Provider may amend the AGB with a reasonable notice period (at least 30 days) by email and/or in-app notice. If the User does not object within the notice period, the amendments are deemed accepted; the Provider expressly highlights this consequence in the notice. On objection, either party may terminate.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
German law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules. For consumers this does not deprive them of the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of their habitual residence (Art. 6 Rome I). Place of jurisdiction for traders — the seat of the Provider (Bremen).
16. Online dispute resolution (ODR / VSBG)
The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. The Provider's e-mail for pre-litigation matters is in the Imprint. Pursuant to § 36 VSBG, the Provider is not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.
17. Severability
If individual provisions of the AGB are invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions is not affected. The invalid provision is replaced by the statutory rule that comes closest to the economic intent of the parties.
