The WTFB platform contains user-generated content: tester reports, roasts, screenshots, messages, public links. These rules help keep the environment productive and safe — without harassment, fraud or illegal content. They apply to Developers (customers), Testers (contributors), public comments and messaging. Violations may lead to content removal, reversal of WTFx credits, account suspension and/or reporting to authorities.
1. Prohibited content
- Illegal content, instructions for illegal acts, content violating sanctions or export controls.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance; immediate removal and mandatory reporting to BKA/NCMEC.
- Hate speech, discrimination on protected grounds, Nazi/terrorist propaganda (§ 86, § 130 StGB).
- Threats, harassment, stalking, bullying, doxxing (publishing private contact data/IDs).
- Defamatory claims about people or businesses without evidence; insults under § 185 StGB.
- Infringement of IP/trademark rights, impersonation, false affiliation.
- 18+, graphic violence, extremist content — except when necessary for a legitimate report and properly flagged.
- Spam, scams, fraud, phishing, credential harvesting, malware/links to malware.
- Sexually explicit content in public-facing fields (profile, roasts, public comments).
2. Tester conduct
- Reports must be based on real testing, facts and observations. Auto-generated answers without human verification are prohibited.
- AI assistance is allowed for drafts and translations, but the final report must be reviewed and confirmed by a human.
- Creating multiple accounts, sharing accounts, gaming stats and ratings is prohibited.
- Disclosing the customer's confidential information found during testing outside the platform is prohibited.
3. Developer conduct
- Refusing to pay for a correctly completed task to obtain free labour is prohibited.
- Posting tasks that require illegal actions or third-party rights violations is prohibited.
- Posting third-party closed products without rightsholder consent is prohibited.
4. Roasts and public reviews
A roast can be direct and critical but must stay focused on the product, UX, copy, security and verifiable facts. Attacks on protected characteristics, private individuals or unprovable accusations are not allowed. AI-generated parts must be reviewed by a human before publication.
5. WTFx and reward mechanics
WTFx is an internal accounting unit, not money, securities, crypto-assets, gambling chips or an investment product. Discounts, referrals, coupons and gamification cannot be used to game balances. See Terms / Refunds.
6. Reporting and takedown
Report abuse, illegal content, copyright or privacy issues to [email protected] or [email protected]. Include URL, screenshots if helpful, your contact details and the reason. Under DSA Art. 16 we process confirmed notices within 7 days.
7. Moderation actions
- Hiding or removing content, taking down public links.
- Reversing WTFx, cancelling rewards for violating content.
- Temporary suspension or account closure.
- Preserving evidence and reporting to law enforcement where legally required.
8. Appealing moderation decisions
If you believe a moderation decision is wrong, send a reasoned objection within 30 days to [email protected]. We respond within 14 days. Your right to out-of-court dispute settlement (DSA Art. 21) and court remains unaffected.
