This policy governs refunds for purchases of WTFx — the internal accounting unit of the WTFB platform (wtfb.site), operator: KROMA UG (haftungsbeschränkt).
1. Cancellation right (EU)
Under § 312g BGB and Directive 2011/83/EU, EU consumers have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days without giving reasons.
Important: By purchasing WTFx you agree that the digital service starts immediately (instant credit to your balance) and thereby expressly waive the 14-day cancellation right under § 356 (5) BGB / Art. 16(m) Directive 2011/83/EU once WTFx have been actually used.
2. Refund of unused WTFx
- If you have not spent any WTFx (no projects launched, no tasks paid) — we refund the eligible unused amount minus payment processor fees.
- Refund request window: 14 days from purchase.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
3. When refunds are not possible
- WTFx have already been spent (fully or partially).
- More than 14 days have passed since purchase.
- Account is suspended for Terms violations (fraud, gaming the system, spam).
4. Task disputes
If you paid for a task whose report turned out to be low-quality, use the in-task dispute mechanism. Moderation reviews disputes within 72 hours; in case of our error WTFx are credited back to the customer's balance.
5. WTFx ≠ money
WTFx is an internal accounting unit, not a security or fiat/crypto currency. Refunds are paid in fiat at the original purchase rate, minus WTFx already used.
